Laptop touchpad short cuts are not working (like scrolling form the side of the pad)?

hey, i have a sony vaio. there was something wrong with my laptop so i installed a new windows 7 (my own cd). the lalptop worked fine but the toughpad shortcuts went away. i think that i need to install the driver again but i cant find it anywhere. the laptop eill be compatible with any driver from the VPC e-series. i tried updating the mouse from the control panel. please help
