Why does my boyfriend ignore me?

my bofriend and i have been going out for 5 months now, but we've known each other for 5 years. he ignores me at school, doesnt hug me, doesnt kiss me, hangs out with me for maybe 15 minutes a day. he has told me he loves me many times, but doesnt show it. i've asked him why he does this, and he responds that its not important, and changes the subject. i love him too, but am i being silly?
