Why does my computer keep giving me a error message when i try to switch windows?

my computer will not allow me pull up a new tab or new window. this small box keeps popping up with a error message. for example i am on a clothing site. it tells me to click here to see item im interested in. when i click it, a new window box appears but will not open. and i receive a small box with a error message. then i am kicked all the way out the site. the only way i can pull up link is to right click on item, copy shortcut, manually open new tab, paste it, then enter. can you help me? and it happen on every site!
