Ok. sooo my dad was comin in from outside not to long ago around 12ish and?

a gray and white cat followed him all the way home and my dad came in the house and let the cat stay outside. it started meowing and it got on our window seal and started staring at me and then my dad shooed it away sayin scat or go get out of here and then it kept coming back and now hes back but not at out front door on our porch and he facing our front door just laying their in a ball asleep its a cute cat but my mom is allergic so. we cant bring him in the house but hes jus their this is the first time this has happen but i was wondering what could this mean is their some type of wierd superstition about a cat at your front door that wont leave?! please helpd leave nice comments only thanks
